<< URGENTLY SEEKING $2,000 BEFORE AUGUST 1ST >>
I wish to work for it but I'm learning to accept charity. I wish for God's will to be first in this. I am spending every available minute seeking more clients while I pick up work for an existing client that was on pause during the move. That totals about 5 hours per week.
LOSING NEW HOUSING
I lost my home in July and gained a new home. The new home is suddenly to be sold. I have not financially recovered fast enough to pay for the next place and have not found that place yet. God has something amazing planned. He is working on increasing my faith as I learn to trust Him in His timing.
AT IMMEDIATE RISK - THE WAREHOUSE
This houses my life's work from running business since 1999 - the remaining retail store inventory after the flood, all of my professional music studio equipment, a sheet music library of over 3,000 songs and what is left of my personal belongings - all in 150sf of space and quite cramped since this move.
AT IMMEDIATE RISK - MY SAFETY - ON THE BRINK OF LIVING IN MY CAR
I moved to a room in Soquel July 5 with a few belongings, and my cat was moved to a loving home as I was not allowed a cat here. The owner of the new place just passed away while I was moving in and the new owner (the son) announced that he will sell the house. It looks like they would like me out by September 1st. I pray for another Christian household - this time one that would help me recover financially. I am very open to doing things around the house for about 5 to 10 hours per week in exchange, while operating my business.
AT IMMEDIATE RISK - FINANCES
On top of everything I've been through, the stroke of September 2025 depleted my credit cards while I recovered for five months. I did make my highest income to date last year as well, but it wasn't enough for the rental situation I was previously in. I will have to declare bankruptcy as soon as possible but even that proves difficult because it will also cost money.
June 1, 2026 - A new kind of situation had arisen at my Capitola home of almost 3 years - the landlord would not receive rent from third parties. It is illegal to refuse this but I didn't know until it was too late. I held him accountable to this law and he got scary with me. He's been getting drunk daily from a long time now. He shut down any conversation and bullied me into breaking the lease early. Business shut down again - money drained again.
June 15, 2026 - I asked God's will - He led me straight to Santa Cruz Community Church. I gave up my beautiful Steinway and God provided me a piano to play on that's amazing! I asked God for Christians to house me and Lily. Though we are separated, we are both in Christian homes!
My health is pretty stable - I continue to surf and walk. My back is not so great after the move but I have my special bed and a chair with me. I can work about 4 to 6 hours per day at present. I have about 5 hours of solid client work at present and am looking for more clients.
IMMEDIATE NEEDS:
- A loving Christian household for me and my cat - a private bedroom, preferably a private bathroom, prayer time together regularly, permission to web design and call clients from home, before September 1st. I can't afford more than about $300 - it's a terrible reality but true. I know God is aware of every need and detail.
- $1650 for August rent for the current room minus any income I am able to bring in between now and the 1st
- $400 for the warehouse (past due, grace until 7/28, I have about $200 in the bank)
- Fuel for the car (have enough for a few more days)
- Oil change for the car (soon)
- A new pair of walking shoes
- $30 for stroke prevention medicine (will run out in a few days)
I AM SO GRATEFUL FOR:
- 7/22 - Lily has another place to live after being with a sweet family since I moved out!
- Everyone who has helped me
- God brought a better piano into my life two days after I decided to give up my beautiful Steinway upright!
- A future of sharing my gift with others
- Every meal I get to eat (food stamps cover me)
- My amazing bed and chair
- My new housemate that I get to pray with
- Surfing the Lord's beautiful waves
- The ability to do web design from home

My Beloved Studio Lost
Anna Greco playing Un Sospiro by Franz Liszt after a surf session in her former beloved Felton recording studio just months before the house was to be sold (2022). This home was almost lost in the CZU fire and this grand piano had to be given up due to lack of space in her current home. As a professional instrument, this has been a devastating loss.
Background
- Started playing the piano at age 6
- Started performing at age 8
- Full-ride scholarship to John Brown University to earn my Bachelor's Degree in Piano Performance
- 15 year career in the Boston area and Europe
- 9 years training in bel canto singing as a coloratura mezzo-soprano
Experience
- In business since 1999
- Approx. 30,000 hours played at the piano
- Approx. 3,000 pieces played professionally
- Collaborated with hundreds of singers in performance, rehearsals, masterclasses and lessons
- Worked with opera companies, symphonies, universities, churches and more
My Story
I should be in heaven now, but I'm not. By a miracle - I'm here. I know that God has decided to keep me here and do the work He gifted me to do - play the piano and help people experience genuine realness. I plan to express His miracle every day through my concerts, recordings and relationships with my patrons.
In order for you to see how much light is in my life now, I'll have to ask you to come through the darkness for a short time first.
My Predicament
- Limited to working 4 hours per day, 5 days per week
- I'm alone most of the time
- People look at me and assume I'm fine too often
- I must avoid looking at LEDs
The Silver Lining
- Physical damage has not dimished my skills at the piano or singing
- I am equipped to advocate for my health
- I have awesome emotionally supportive people in my corner
My Goal
I have prayed and leaned on God to direct me over the last many months. I gave the retail store and music career up to Him to see how He should lead me. He made it very clear back in November 2025 that it's time to be at the piano again in a big way. My six-year old dream to be a solo concert pianist - it's finally time! So I have decided to trust in God about this. I have already begun to feel an incredible peace that is quite new to me but for these last couple of months it has been an overwhelming peace. I know my calling now.
I have the training, skill and career experience to set out on the path, so here I go. I had just enough money to find about 500 envelopes, postage and announcement cards get out some advertising for the first time since I moved back here over a decade ago. Somehow the Lord provided some extra healing in my mind and body in just the last few weeks. I keep telling Him every day, "If you provide the strength, I will wake up every day and do Your calling", and He is coming through with some extra strength for me. I'm so thankful because it's what I love doing.

Tiger Lily - Recording Engineer
Lily is exceptionally good at staring contests which makes her a perfect candidate for monitoring sound levels and making sure that the red dot is on during recording. She is also willing to press every soundboard and computer keyboard button that there is.
