Miss Greco has played a large range of classical and contemporary styles throughout her life. She feels most connected to the 19th century Romantic period, so that has become her specialty. She offers concerts in the European style of her ancestors by pairing as many contextual elements as possible with the music - architecture, dress, furnishings, lighting and more.
Between Miss Greco’s first career, childhood and university training, she has played about 30,000 at the piano. It is her great desire to play another 30,000 and become a master.
During the first 30,000 hours, life went along rather smoothly, interrupted only by normal life changes. Anna collaborated with hundreds of musicians, playing around 3,000 songs, sometimes behind the scenes and over 1000 times on the stage.
At a certain point, she realized that she had to attend to her personal life, which had begun to crumble. She took a long break to assess what could be managed, what was beyond her control and what needed to change. The thought of returning to the piano was always there, but she wasn’t sure how or when. She just knew that she wanted to get back soon and work towards becoming a piano master and to bring joy into people’s lives.
Anna meandered through unknown territory for some time and tried several new things. The urge to return was unquenchable and by Christmas of 2025, she knew it was time.
Anna is thrilled to return, and has already begun playing and preparing concert material. She can’t wait to share the wildly deep and eloquent experiences that 19th century romantic music brings.
